I am on a Christmas outfit shopping spree! Since I have a new body this year, a lot of previous year things won’t fit so I took the advantage to get some all new things! Fameshed had a few awesome things, so look for amazing photos to come!

Cookie Time

The Holidays are my favorite damn time of year. Starting in October and really just stretching on until Valentine’s Day. Most people tend to be sadder and more depressed during the fall and winter months, but I thrive and feel so much better. I love colder weather, I love the holiday tastes and smells, and I like the dark better than sunlight. All these things make for a happy Co Co.

The Anatines are doing a RL cookie exchange this year which I am taking part of, and decided to make a fun photo with SL Cori baking away. Hopefully you enjoy too!

That Fall Nip

In real life, I live in Alabama, which takes forever to get real cold. It’s just now getting down to chilly temps in the evening and at night, but still in the upper 70s during the day. It was hot enough during the day today to make the metal on our door burn our hands. Was definitely nice lawn mowing weather though! This coming week, however, it’s getting lower which means I’ll have a nice pot of chili on mid week and enjoy that to its fullest. Soup just tastes better in colder weather.

We still have yet to turn our sim into fall, which at this point I think we’ll just skip that and go straight to snow. I will take down the apple area when it happens, so I wanted to get in a photo or two while it was still there. (Not pictured: The white jian Saturday Sale turkeys running around a bit further out of the shot)

What’s your favorite part about fall? Mine is the holidays that start and pumpkin EVERYTHING!

A Sorta Fairytale

The weekend has came and went, just as quickly as it started. I was so busy that I realized I didn’t even check out Fifty Linden Fridays this week!! Thankfully I remembered myself and got in for Saturday Sale so I could pick up this amazing turtleneck dress just in time for fall!

Anywhere With You

Recently, we decided to branch out and take over the entire sim when our neighbors disappeared. The other side was basically turned into a park / photo haven / dance area / fun place to play and ride our horses. It’s made for some amazing photo ops, and this piece by SamPoses fit in perfect in our park area.

Kiss Me Before You Go

I love a good, romantic rainy scene. Meli-Melo really brought it with this amazing pose, umbrella included. This bridge set up at our house lent for the perfect backdrop for an amazing photo that I actually got to take with Drake as our schedules aligned!!

My Confused Face

Let me tell you that I feel absolutely blessed to be able to blog for Pose Fair. The staff is amazing, and our blogger manager is super attentive and if it wasn’t for him I might not be able to remember deadlines. Thank goodness for awesome people! That being said, the creators really brought it this round! I hadn’t been able to get much time with Drake in-world, so some of the couples poses I haven’t gotten to hit yet (though I’m looking SO forward to it) but there were enough solo style poses to keep me busy and keep the posts flowing.

Today was also Collabor88, which means yup! New hair! (I bought a cute banana dick pic shirt from Tres Blah too, but that’ll be for another post). Foxy’s new little mini braids hairstyle is amazing. The fit for Lelu Evo is right on point too. Kudos to miss Liza!

Have you ever gotten an update redelivery from somewhere (like when a creator adds a new body or something) and it’s like rediscovering an old friend? That’s what happened with these shorts the other day. Cynful did a great job and I am happy to have re-found them!

Caturday

I have always considered myself a dog person. Grew up having both but loving my dogs a bit more, and as an adult I definitely had more dogs, with the last being my feisty westie duo, Ivy and Einstein. Einstein since passed and Ivy is living with her daddy (my ex), and two cats fell into our laps over the last two years. Since then I have decided that I am also very much a cat person. For different reasons. And yes, you can be both!

When I opened up this adorable pose from Hazeel I KNEW I wanted to put them out on my land to take the photo, in the fairy grass area that Drake just made up for my birthday that we haven’t even gotten to utilize yet. So, here we are, in our playful glory. This was taken yesterday on Saturday, hence the “Caturday” title.

Am I Tamable?

This is a crazy time. School is starting (cautiously), I am going back to work, and lots of changes are happening. I’m having to re-figure out time management which means finding more time to do these fun things as well as other fun things I like (ie WoW, where AQ gates have just opened like it’s 2004 or something. Gotta love Classic!). I’ve gotten into crochet as well and am working on my first blanket. It’s time consuming but fun!

What I have found time to do though is keep up with my shopping, and this CK outfit I saw on Facebook and was beating down the door at Cosmopolitan to get to haha. It paired perfectly with these boots and this awesome hair with a beret, so I decided that Cori looked so badass she needed this backdrop.

I will say the up close glow of the neon is kind of hard to deal with and shoot with ultra settings, even in black dragon, so I need some practice with that. As always, pointers are welcome ♥
