Decorating a new baby’s room is stressful. Take into consideration it’s for M/F twins, then you have a hard problem. Do you use gender constructs and do it a mix of blue and pink? Do you go gender neutral with greys, yellows, or beige? Well, the rollers were blue so that’s what we tried out on the wall! I’m not sure if it’ll actually get changed or if it’s just fun for the photo. That has yet to be seen.
It’s going to be a busy weekend with RFL, RL, and everything else, so I’m getting this one done now. Hopefully you like it!

So, last night was the kick off for our major RFL event that Camping for a Cure holds every year, Freedom Rock (Thrice). This year we are holding the festivities at the main ACS island. If you have time, search events for “Freedom Rock” and go see your favorite artist! I helped open up last night with my first performance in over a year, and it was amazing.
I bring this up because today’s post is of Shutter Up’s pose fair offering, and well, BB and Abi are amazing human beings who were there hyping everyone up last night. They also have poses for sale for charity at the event. Support these amazing humans everywhere, especially at pose fair! You can find this pose there right now.
When looking for my next pose to feature, I was shuffling through my Reimagined folder, and I really liked the bench pose but it really
needed a bench. The tree pose was super cute too but again, it needed an actual (non-decorated Christmas) tree. This one though? It fit the bill perfectly. And I paired it with this darling little gift box set from the Winter Wonderland Market. Look at the little spots for your own photos? So darn cute for in front of the tree.
March 11, 2018. A day that will live on in infamy, at least in my world. A spontaneous partnership done on a dare turned out to be one of the best and worst things I’ve done. It was something special that lasted almost a year, and I learned a lot of things about not only myself, but others around me. I was both the happiest and saddest I’d been in a good while. And here I am, 2 years later, talking about it still.
It was one of those things that absolutely was not meant to last, but while it did, the only word I can use to describe it is “magic” – the true kind of magic that comes only when you least expect it, knocks you off your feet, and leaves you bewildered when it’s all over. This song can instantly take me back to that moment, that one shred in time where I made a silly half-drunk decision that changed my life forever. I am a better person because I went through that journey, and I made a forever friend and have only the fondest memories.

I have been having a crazy RL and between that and trying to keep up with my live music shows in Second Life, I haven’t had a whole lot of time for posting to the blog. I’ve been thinking about maybe making this a collab with one or two other people, but we’ll see. I do have some photo challenge stuff I’m posting soon, so look out for that for sure. This right here was inspired after a series of events. First off, The Arcade dropped on June 1 and while there wasn’t really a whole lot I had to have (and I got super lucky on a lot of plays), this BAMSE SoundX set was something I wanted ALL of it. And I got it!
I got informed that the sim we live on is going beach style after my SL mom’s wedding there, so I started getting my stuff in order for beach themes. That also included putting down a new house.
I went with the Redgrave Lakeside after a long time of deliberation and demos. I’m not fully done decorating it yet, but it’s getting there. This was taken in my music room, where I set up my BAMSE set plus a few other random things. I love the way it turned out and just like to spend time there. I know it’s not real recording equipment, but it’s a happy SL space for me and that’s all that matters!
